Consultation on the criteria used in defining markets

In a Ruling of 3 August 2000, the interpretation on the applicability of the criteria used in the assessment of significant market power, for the purposes of Decree-Law no. 415/98 of 31 December, was approved.

Underlying this deliberation were the findings of the ICP's consultation of the organizations concerned. The consultation invited opinions on the parameters used in the definition of markets, and focussed particularly on the national interconnection market, given the complexities inherent to this market.
