ANACOM launches advertising campaign to promote the tariff simulator

ANACOM - Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações will launch an information campaign to promote the Tariff Monitor, a tool that gives private consumers the chance to compare the land mobile service call prices, to verify if they are using the most appropriate one. The campaign, produced by Brandia, starts next Monday 17 April, and will be on until the end of May in the press (until 3 May); on the ATM machines network; with banners on several Internet websites, such as at Clix, Iol e Sapo; with poster distribution; and a large scale distribution of an information leaflet. The leaflet will be distributed at CTT stations, at Optimus' and Worten's stores, at the headquarters and delegations of Instituto do Consumidor (Institute of the Consumer) and at consumer associations, among others.

This information campaign aims at publicizing the Tariff Monitor. The Monitor is a simulator developed in collaboration with the three mobile operators (Optimus, TMN and Vodafone Portugal), giving private consumers the chance to freely and interactively refer to and compare these operators' tariffs for national voice calls, short messages (SMS) and multimedia messages (MMS).
