The presentation given by ANACOM's Chairman Pedro Duarte Neves last Friday, 10 March, at the first session of the Information Society Forum, has been released. This initiative took place at Aveiro’s Exhibition Park (Parque de Exposições de Aveiro) and focused on debating the public policies aimed at promoting information society in Portugal.
The subject of this presentation by ANACOM's Chairman was ''Regulation and Competition in the Broadband Market''. It was part of the panel ''The Information Society in Portugal: Status and Perspectives'' and was made up of the following parts: (i) retail markets regulation - local loop unbundling and ''Rede ADSL PT''offer; (ii) market evolution in 2005; and (iii) closing remarks.
