The Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of ANACOM, Sandra Maximiano, participated in the panel on the regulation of artificial intelligence at the “ANGOTIC'2024 https://www.angotic.ao/” Forum, dedicated to topics related to information and communication technologies, organised by the Angolan Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication, on 14 June 2024 in Luanda (Angola).
The panel also included Gilberto Mizalaque (Angola’s Attorney General’s Office), Massingue Apala (Administrator for Mozambique’s Market Regulation and Statistics Department) and Joaquim Muhongo (Chair of INACOM – Angolan Communications Institute), moderated by Oswaldo de Jesus (Digital.ao).
On 13 June 2024, Sandra Maximiano had the opportunity to meet with Joaquim Muhongo (Chair of INACOM), with whom she took stock of the cooperation between the two Regulatory Authorities.
On the same day, the Chairwoman of ANACOM also met with Francisco Alegre Duarte, Portugal’s Ambassador to Angola, to discuss relevant issues in the area of telecommunications.
