Approval of the amendment to the right of use for numbering resources granted to MEO

On 12 June 2024, ANACOM approved the amendment to the right of use for the numbering resources assigned to MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO), contained in the title in annex to the decisionhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1789211 of this Authority of 2 May 2024, changing the numbering resource referring to the numbers “49000000xxxx” to the numbers “49960000xxxx”, as requested by MEO.

It has been decided to dispense with the public consultation procedure provided for in paragraph 4 of article 21 of the Electronic Communications Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=333114, since the proposed amendment is minor, temporary, has no impact on end-users, is intended solely for testing purposes and does not create comparative advantages, with the consent of the company holding the right, MEO.

ANACOM also decided to dispense with the prior consultation of interested parties in accordance with paragraph 1 f) of article 124 of the Administrative Procedure Code, given that the elements contained in the procedure and the decision reflect a decision entirely favourable to MEO’s request.
