This ANACOM report presents and analyses the information contained in notifications of security breaches or losses of integrity with significant impact sent to ANACOM in 2022 by companies providing public networks or publicly available electronic communications services in Portugal. The report also details the trends that have been observed in these notifications between 2015 and 2022.
The publication is divided into three chapters: introduction; security incidents in 2022 (number of security incidents notified, root cause, impact on the service); and analysis of incidents in 2022 [distribution of reported incidents, affected subscribers or accesses (levels), calls to the 112 emergency number, (“isolated”) islands, other circumstances and public information].
