By decision of 7 February 2023, ANACOM approved the transfer to Justpoetic of the right of use of frequencies in the 87.5-108 MHz band allocated to GB Comunicação for provision of a local radio programme service in the municipality of Barcelos, pursuant to paragraph 6 of article 42 of the LCE - Lei das Comunicações Eletrónicas (Electronic Communications Law).
At the same time, ANACOM authorised the transfer of station licence no. 20331 and of authorising title for operation of the authorization to operate the broadcasting data transmission system under the name of the programme channel "CAVADO FM" owned by GB Comunicação.
ANACOM also determined that the effective transfer of the right of use of frequencies to Justpoetic is subject to approval by ERC - Entidade Reguladora para a Comunicação Social (Media Regulatory Authority) of the request to assign the programme service named “Cávado FM” along with the respective licence for the exercise of the radio broadcasting activity of GB Comunicação.
