In the context of the bilateral cooperation between ANACOM and Agência de Regulação Multissectorial da Economia (ARME - the Multisectoral Economic Regulation Agency), technical meetings were held on 13 and 14 October 2022 in the city of Praia, Cape Verde, attended by Nelson Melim, Director of ANACOM’s Madeira Delegation and Luís Roque Pedro, Director of ANACOM’s Porto Delegation, as well as the ARME Board of Directors, the Head of Spectrum Management, Ana Lima, and other heads of technical areas.
On-site demonstrations of computer applications developed at ANACOM in the context of spectrum management and quality of service in mobile networks were carried out, the possibility of making software available to ARME having been addressed, so as to provide this regulatory body with tools similar to those already implemented at national level at ANACOM.
Also as a follow-up to the meetings held, a survey of technical requirements was carried out and operational procedures were discussed, to check possible synergies for mutual cooperation.
