Allocation of the right of use for numbers to Orange Business Portugal

On 25 March 2022, the Director-General for Regulation, in the use of the powers delegated by ANACOM’s Board of Directors, under point i) of paragraph 6 of Determination no 753/2021https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1678761, published on 16 July in Series II (Part E) of the Official Gazette, decided to grant Orange Business Portugal (Orange) the right to use the numbers 28206xxxx.

Orange is subject to compliance with the conditions of use set out in article 37 of the Electronic Communications Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=975162 (ECL), namely the use of indicated numbers exclusively for the provision of the telephone service at a fixed location in the respective geographic area; to observe the principles and criteria for the management and allocation of numbering resources approved by ANACOM on 2 June 1999, and others that ensure compliance with the condition of effective and efficient use and that may be set by ANACOM in implementation of ECL.

ANACOM decided also to waive the prior hearing of interested parties, under point f) of paragraph 1 of article 124 of the Administrative Procedure Code.
