On 6 July 2021, the Chairman of ANACOM’s Board of Directors, João Cadete de Matos, and one of the Members of ANACOM’s Board of Directors, Sandro Mendonça, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore in Portugal, Zainal Arif Mantaha, accompanied by the First Secretary for Political Affairs, Chia Yuhui.
Given that international connectivity is a common interest and the sea is a relevant concern between two maritime nations, the meeting focused on clarifying Portugal’s contribution to the constitution of the EU Atlantic Data-Gateway Platform, having opportunities for future collaboration between the respective public authorities of Singapore and Portugal been identified.
