Review of regulatory costs of electronic communications for 2020

By decision taken on 20 May 2021, ANACOM approved (i) the review of the value of regulatory costs of the activity of provider of electronic communications networks and services, regarding fees to be paid in 2020, from EUR 33 819 903 to EUR 34 351 823, due to the correction of the value of regulatory costs in the item of provisions for legal proceedings associated with the electronic communications sector; (ii) the review of the value of the t2 contribution rate to be applied to the relevant income of providers of electronic communications networks and services, with reference to 2020, from 0.8102% to 0.8229%.

The additional settlement of the annual fee due for the activity of provider of electronic communications networks and services for 2020 was also approved, in the amount of EUR 531 920, in accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Annex II to Administrative Rule No 1473-B/2008, of 17 December, as amended by Administrative Rule No 296-A/2013https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1180549, of 2 October, and in accordance with point b) of paragraph 1 of article 105 of the Electronic Communications Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=975162.
