ANACOM opinion on prior notification of a merger: OMTEL/Ativos ONI

By decision of 22 April 2021, ANACOM has approved an opinion on the prior notification of the concentration operation, entailing the acquisition of a right of commercial exploitation by OMTEL, Estruturas de Comunicações pertaining to a set of assets held by Onitelecom - Infocomunicações. This follows a request received from AdC - Autoridade da Concorrência (Competition Authority) under the terms of paragraph 1 of article 55 of Law no. 19/2012 of 8 May (Competition Law, in its current wording).
