Request of intervention for the administrative settlement of disputes submitted by ONI due to «alleged usurpation of CLI by MEO in transit traffic»
On 4 February 2021, ANACOM approved the draft decision on the request of intervention submitted by Onitelecom – Infocomunicações (ONI), under the provisions in Article 10 of the Electronic Communications Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1366216, for the administrative settlement of a dispute between itself and MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO), as a result of MEO's application of non-regulated termination fees to voice calls delivered by ONI, in transit of international routes, due to alleged usurpation of calling line identification (CLI) of these calls.
On this same date, ANACOM also decided to submit this draft decision to the prior hearing of ONI and MEO, with the period of 10 business days having been given to these companies to submit comments in writing.
