On 31 March 2021, ANACOM approved the preliminary draft Joint Order that subjects radio wave easements to the areas adjacent to the Radio Wave Centre formed by Santa Maria geodesic station which is included in the Atlantic Network of Geodynamic and Space Stations (RAEGE) project.
The RAEGE project consists of a network of four essential geodesic stations, aimed at conducting studies in the area of astronomy, geodesy, geophysics and corresponding public service applications.
ANACOM also decided to submit the preliminary draft to the prior hearing of the stakeholders, under the terms of Article 122 and following of the Code of Administrative Procedure, pursuant to Article 50(1) and following of Decree-Law 80/2015 of 14 Mayhttps://dre.pt/pesquisa/-/search/67212743/details/maximized, for 20 days.
