The ITU-EC Regional Forum on “Accessible Europe: ICTs 4 ALL” - 2021 will take place virtually from 23 to 25 March 2021, to discuss issues related to accessibility and digital inclusion for all, in particular for people with special needs, through mechanisms for accessible information and communication technologies.
The event will focus on promoting the development of accessibility in countries and institutions and will be attended by experts from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the European Commission (EC), European bodies involved in promoting accessibility and representatives from Governments, namely the Portuguese Government.
This forum will also include an awards ceremony for regional initiatives promoting innovative digital solutions for an accessible Europe, which will be addressed by the Chairman of ANACOM’s Board of Directors, João Cadete de Matos.

This event is conducted as part of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and it is jointly organised by ITU and EC, with the collaboration at national level of AMA (the Administrative Modernization Agency), INR (the National Institute for Rehabilitation) and ANACOM.
