The Communications Committee held a videoconference meeting on 24 November 2020. The European Commission shared information with the member-states about the Connectivity Recommendation and the revision of the Broadband Cost Reduction Directive, and discussed the indicator of the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) referring to 5G implementation. Information was also exchanged on transposition of the European Electronic Communications Code in the various member-states.
