Approval of new model declarations of ITED and ITUR design responsibility and execution responsibility

By decision of 23 April 2020, ANACOM approved the new model declarations of design responsibility and execution responsibility for telecommunications infrastructure in buildings (ITED) and for telecommunications infrastructure in housing estates, developments and building complexes (ITUR), as amended and adapted following the approvalhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1519503 and entry into force of the ITED4 and ITUR3 Manuals.

These declarations of responsibility are essential for holding technical designers and installers accountable for compliance with the applicable legal and technical standards, as well as to guarantee connection to the public network by service providers, which can only be achieved by means of the existence of the aforementioned declarations. ANACOM is responsible for approving these model declarations pursuant to Articles 36(3), 43(3), 66(3) and 76(3), of the same statute.
