Approval of the report of the public consultation on the provision of the universal postal service after the end of the current concession

By decision of 9 March 2020, ANACOM approved the report of the public consultation on the provision of the universal postal service after the end of the current concession, launched by decision of this Authority on 26 November 2019https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1496706, by request of the Government.

Under this consultation, in addition to the comments of the Competition Authority, contributions were received from the following entities: Câmara Municipal (CM) da Mealhada; CM de Castro Verde; CM de Odivelas; CM de Ourique; Junta de Freguesia (JF) da União das Freguesias de Leiria, Pousos, Barreira e Cortes; JF de Bodiosa; JF de São Pedro da Torre; CTT – Correios de Portugal; Premium Green Mail; Associação Nacional de Responsáveis de Distribuição; Associação Nacional dos Chefes de Estação dos Correios; Associação Portuguesa de Imprensa e Associação de Imprensa de Inspiração Cristã (joint response); Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor; Sindicato Democrático dos Trabalhadores dos Correios, Telecomunicações, Media e Serviços; Sindicato Nacional dos Trabalhadores dos Correios e Telecomunicações; António Miguel Sousa; Cláudio Vilas; Luís Paulo; Rogério Costa Pereira and Samuel Vieira.

The contributions of CM de Vieira do Minho and JF da União das Freguesias de Malagueira e Horta das Figueiras, received after the deadline, were also taken into account.
