The conference ''CyberTech Tel Aviv 2020'' was held on 28 to 30 January 2020, in Tel Aviv (Israel), which is a platform that promotes debate among participants in cybernetic industry worldwide.
João Cadete de Matos, Chairman of ANACOM, participated in the roundtable ''Preparation of Telecommunications and Cyber ecosystems to 5G'' of the session on ''Communications in the cyber era''.
At the same time, on 29 January 2020, a declaration was signed by João Cadete de Matos and Netanel Cohen, Director General of the Ministry of Communications of Israel, recording the intention to establish a Memorandum of Understanding between the two entities with the aim of creating a technical and institutional cooperation mechanism on matters of telecommunications. This ceremony was attended by Raphael Gamzou, Ambassador of Israel in Portugal.
A meeting was also held between the Chairman of ANACOM and João Bernardo Weinstein, Ambassador of Portugal in Israel.
