Resolution
Recommending that the Government should safeguard the quality of the universal public postal service
The Portuguese Parliament, under the terms of Article 166(5) of the Constitution, recommends that the Government should:
1 - Ensure that there is at least one post office in each municipality, assuring the reopening of closed post offices in the municipalities that were left without any post office.
2 - Define the universal public service assessment criteria to be borne in mind for the analysis and choice of the model to be implemented in 2021, safeguarding service quality and continuity.
