On 6 February 2020, ANACOM approved the draft regulation of the auction for allocation of user frequency rights in the 700 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2.1 GHz, 2.6 GHz and 3.6 GHz bands, the notice of which was published today, 12 February in the 2nd series of Diário da República (Official Journal) number 30/2020 - Notice no. 2385/2020https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1507542.
This draft regulation establishes the conditions of access to the spectrum that will be provided to the market, the procedural rules of the auction and the conditions that will be associated to the use of the allocated spectrum.
The draft regulation is submitted to public consultation, under the applicable legislation, for a period of 30 business days. Stakeholders may send contributions up to 25 March 2020, in writing and in Portuguese, preferably by email to the address reg.leilao@anacom.ptmailto:reg.leilao@anacom.pt.
Once the consultation process is completed, the contributions that were received will be disclosed to the public; therefore, stakeholders should also send an expurgated version, eliminating elements considered confidential for purposes of publication on this website.
