The Portuguese Committee of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI)https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=253943, whose work is managed by ANACOM, will hold its 13th Congress on 17 December 2019 at the Ramada Lisbon Hotel, this year dedicated to the theme “Space: Challenges and opportunities”.
In order to encourage young writers, ANACOM is sponsoring the Best Student Paper Award, worth 1,000 euros, which will be given to the student who is both the primary author of, and orally presents, the best article at the congress, in a 3 to 5 minute pitch format.
In this context, a call for papers was launched regarding the areas identified as scientific topics. All interested parties are invited to submit scientific papers not yet published by 03 December 2019.
The application process for the “ANACOM-URSI Portugal Prize”, worth 4,000 euros, is also running until 03 December, which will reward the best research work in the area of radioelectricity, submitted to the Portuguese Committee of the URSI, in electronic format of up to 20 pages, using the IEEE two-column template, and containing a relevant contribution to science.
