A meeting was held on 23 May 2019 in Dublin (Ireland) between the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ANACOM, João Cadete de Matos, and Jeremy Godfrey, Commissioner of the Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg), the Irish regulatory authority for communications.
The meeting provided opportunity for the exchange of experience and information on the activity of ANACOM and ComReg, with agreement to continue and consolidate the close and fruitful cooperation between the two regulatory authorities.
There was also opportunity to analyse aspects related to the mission and activities of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP) and the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC), which in 2019 are chaired by ANACOM and ComReg respectively.
