Allocation and recovery of rights of use of numbering following termination of the mobile communications services of CTT - Correios de Portugal

Under the provisions of articles 17, 36 and 37 of Law no. 5/2004 of 10 Februaryhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=975162 (current version), as well as articles 5 and 11 of Regulamento da Portabilidade (Portability Regulation)https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=333120,  and in exercise of the powers and responsibilities conferred by point b) of paragraph 1 of article 9 and point b) of paragraph 1 of article 26 of its Statuteshttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=333094, by decision of 11 April 2019, ANACOM approved the allocation of rights of use of numbering in  the "92" range, as held by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT) to the companies expressing an interest in such numbering (mobile operators): MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia and Vodafone Portugal – Comunicações Pessoais. This follows termination of the provision of mobile communications services provided by CTThttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1465583 under the Phone-ix brand. Approval was likewise given to the recovery of the remaining numbering resources allocated on a primary basis by ANACOM to CTT.

ANACOM also decided to waive the prior hearing of interested parties, pursuant to point f) of paragraph 1 of article 124 of Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code).
