Rome hosted last 27 January a meeting of drafters from the ERGP working group on Future of the Regulatory Framework.
Regarding the late January working group meeting in Brussels, this meeting was meant to finish the report on development of the postal sector and regulatory implications, taking into account responses to the respective public consultation that ran from 12 December 2018 to 24 January 2019, and to draw up the opinion, addressed to the European Union, indicating what key changes the regulatory framework will have to undergo so it can respond to ongoing postal sector transformations, which is expected to be adopted by the end of the first half of 2019.
