The European Commission (EC) held last 29 January in Brussels a seminar with the presentation of conclusions of a study conduced by WIK-Consult for the EC, on developments concerning cross-border electronic commerce. Also presented was a new study, to be conducted by WIK-Consult in 2019, on user needs in the postal sector. The results of those studies are meant to help the EC produce the next report on implementation of the Postal Directive, planned for 2020, and to evaluate the need to revise the current regulatory framework.
