The exhibition ''Selos Portugueses de Além-Mar'' (Portuguese Stamps from Overseas), on display at ANACOM's branch in Madeirahttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=282675, has been extended until 15 May 2019. This exhibition organized by ANACOM and FPC - Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações (Portuguese Foundation for Communications), includes stamps, and their original drawings, issued in overseas territories which share a common history with Portugal.
ANACOM invites visitors to discover these works - they document a past which reaches us through the stamps and which illustrate markers of culture and identity.
The competition "My favourite stamp" is currently being held, challenging children and young people aged from 6 to 12 years and residing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira to visit the exhibition and draw the stamp they liked the most. The deadline for entries is 29 March 2019.
