On 20 February 2019, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ANACOM, João Cadete de Matos, took part in a parliamentary hearing called by Comissão de Economia, Inovação e Obras Públicas (Committee on Economy, Innovation and Public Works). The hearing focused on the provision and quality of the service provided by CTT - Correios de Portugal, in the light of the universal postal service concession contract, and several draft amendments to sector legislation presented by ANACOM.
