Consultation on the review of postal network density objectives and minimum offers of service - extension of deadline

By decision of 6 February 2019, ANACOM has approved an extension, for an additional period of 10 working days, to the deadlines granted to CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT) to submit a proposal regarding the revision of postal network density objectives and minimum offers of service and for submission of comments pursuant to the prior hearing on the obligation of giving notice to users and ANACOM as regards the closure of postal establishments or reduction in their opening hours. An extension has also been made to the public consultation on the reference framework to be taken into account by CTT in presenting proposed revision of objectives, in accordance with ANACOM decision of 10 January 2019https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1466756.

ANACOM does not anticipate that extending the deadlines, as requested by CTT, will undermined completion of the procedures initiated by this decision, and will allow the company to present a more complete, detailed and reasoned proposal, and state its position on the various aspects which it deems relevant in this respect.

As such, contributions should be received no later than 21 February 2019 - comments in writing and in Portuguese should be sent by email to estacoes-e-postos-de-correios@anacom.ptmailto:estacoes-e-postos-de-correios@anacom.pt¹.

Once the consultation process has been concluded, the contributions received will be made public. Therefore, for the purposes of publication on this website, interested parties should also submit a non-confidential version of their responses excluding items considered confidential.
