Complaint submitted by CTT - Correios de Portugal


Under the terms of paragraph 3 of article 14 of Law no. 17/2012 of 26 Aprilhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1127982 (as amended by Decree-Law no. 160/2013 of 19 Novemberhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1183250 and by Law no. 16/2014 of 4 Aprilhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1201952) ANACOM is responsible for establishing  criteria, applicable for a minimum period of three years, governing the pricing of postal services which comprise the universal postal service.

By determination of 12 July 20181, complemented by determination of 5 November 20182, ANACOM established the criteria governing pricing of the universal postal service provided by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT), as provider of the postal service, applicable over the 2018-2020 period.

In this context, it is announced that, pursuant to the provisions of article 184 et seq. of Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code), CTT submitted a Download file complaint to ANACOM regarding its determination establishing the criteria governing the pricing of universal postal services. ANACOM will also disseminate CTT's complaint through publication of a notice in Diário da República (Official Journal) and in a national newspaper.

Accordingly, interested parties are hereby informed that, within 15 working days following publication of the last notice to be published (in one of the media indicated above), they may, where they so see fit, state their positions as regards CTT's request and respective reasoning, under the terms of paragraph 1 of article 192 of Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code), sending comments to reclamacao-CTT-precos@anacom.ptmailto:reclamacao-ctt-precos@anacom.pt.
