By decision of 13 December 2018, ANACOM has decided to notify Direção Geral do Consumidor (Directorate General for the Consumer), consumer organisations (DECO - Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor (Portuguese Consumer Protection Association), UGC and ACOP) and users of postal services about the complaint submitted by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT) regarding ANACOM’s determination establishing the pricing criteria for the universal postal service, applicable until 2020.
Interested parties are given a period of 15 working days, following publication of the corresponding notice in Diário da República (Official Journal) and in a national newspaper, in order to state their positions, where they so see fit, under the terms of and pursuant to article 192 of Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code).
