By final decision of 5 November 2018, ANACOM has approved the methodology to be used for forecasting traffic in the basket of non-reserved postal services for the 2018-2020 period and the consequent maximum price variation of this basket in 2019 and 2020. It was also decided to publish the consolidated version of the decision setting the pricing criteria for the universal postal service for the period 2018-2020.
Approval was likewise given to the report on the prior hearing and public consultation, procedures to which the corresponding draft decision was submitted (draft decision of 12 July 2018https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1457197). In response to these procedures, contributions were received from the following undertakings: API - Associação Portuguesa de Imprensa (Portuguese Press Association), DECO - Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor (Portuguese Consumer Protection Association) and CTT – Correios de Portugal.
