On 19 June 2018, ANACOM received notice from Vectone Mobile (Portugal) Limited (Vectone), informing ANACOM as to the cessation of electronic communications services provided by the company in Portugal from 4 July 2018. Subsequent to this notice and pursuant to point q) of paragraph 1 of article 26 of its Statuteshttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1351851, on 3 July 2018, ANACOM decided to notify the Portability Reference Entity as to the discontinuation of mobile telephone services provided by Vectone in order that this entity may emulate the role of holder provider/donor provider in respect of processes, for the first portability of numbers from the discontinued service, as from 4 July 2018 and during the quarantine period, in accordance with the provisions of point f) of paragraph 4 of article 11 of Regulamento da Portabilidade (Portability Regulation)https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=333120.
