Outcomes of the 29th BEREC Plenary Meeting


The 29th plenary meeting of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) took place on December 8th and 9th in Berlin, Germany, organised by the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA), the German regulatory authority.

The following documents were approved:

Three new Board members were also elected:

  • Johannes Gungl, Managing Director of the Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, who will become Chair in 2018, serving as the Vice Chair in 2017;
  • Alejandra de Iturriaga from the National Commission for Markets and Competitiveness and Steve Unger from the Office of Communications who shall serve as Vice Chairs in 2017.
