The first meeting of the working group on Statistics of the Association of Communications and Telecommunications Regulators of the CPLP (ARCTEL-CPLP) was held last 27-30 September in Lisbon, chaired by ANACOM and attended by representatives of all the Portuguese-speaking African countries.
The following stand out among the topics considered:
- compilation of statistical information in the scope of ARCTEL, including collection capacity and methodology underlying the calculation of indicators concerning accesses, consumers, traffic, revenue, operators and providers of investment services, employment and population;
- enhancing potential of the ARCTEL Business Intelligence platform.
