Brussels hosted last 25 August an extraordinary BEREC plenary meeting on the respective response to the European Commission (EC) request regarding implementing acts of the policy for responsible use and sustainability mechanisms in the abolition of retail roaming surcharges. Also discussed were BEREC’s guidelines on the regulations for mobile telephone service (MTS) and BEREC’s response to the EC request regarding over-the-top (OTT) services with respect to the regulatory framework review.
