9th ANACOM Conference: New regulation for a Gigabit Society


The 9th ANACOM international conference on "New regulation for a Gigabit Society" is taking place on 2 November 2016 (from 2:00 p.m.), at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation), in Lisbon.

The aim of the conference is to promote debate on the European Commission's proposal for a review of the electronic communications regulatory framework, made public on 14 September 2016. This framework will govern regulation of the sector from 2020.

The keynote speaker at the conference, presenting the European Commission's proposal, will be Roberto Viola, Director General of the Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT).

Participation is free and open to anyone interested in taking part, but prior registration is required by completing the online registration form, by 26th October.
