On 23 August the Portuguese Official Gazette, Diário da República (DR), published Regulation No. 829/2016 (Regulation no. 829/2016https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1417060), which specifies the pre-contractual and contractual information to be provided by companies which provide public communications networks or publicly available electronic communication services.
Companies have a maximum period of 6 months to implement the obligations laid down in the Regulation.
It should be noted that the Regulation on pre-contractual and contractual information in the context of electronic communications was approved by ANACOM by decision of 14 July 2016https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1391712. Because of typos found in the text made available on that date, the text has been replaced by a revised version in accordance with that published in the DR.
