By decision of 10 August 2016, ANACOM has approved a draft decision on the results of auditing conducted on the net costs of universal service reported by MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia in respect of financial year 2014 (period prior to designation of the universal service provider by public tender).
It was decided to submit this draft decision to the prior hearing of interested parties, in accordance with articles 121 and 122 of the Código de Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceedings Code - adopted by Decree-Law no. 4/2015 of 7 January) and to the general consultation procedure, in accordance with article 8 of Law no. 5/2004 of 10 February (in its prevailing wording); under both procedures interested parties have been given twenty working days to respond (in writing and in Portuguese).
