On 19 May 2016, ANACOM signed a cooperation protocol with the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança - Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão (IPB-ESTiG - Polytechnical Institute of Bragança - School of Technology and Management), which aims to enhance the synergies between the two organisations. For this purpose, it provides for joint actions aimed at promoting research and development projects as well as technical and scientific consultation in areas of telecommunications infrastructure in buildings (ITED) and telecommunications infrastructure in housing developments, urban settlements and concentrations of buildings (ITUR).
These actions include final course projects, master's dissertations and doctoral theses.
