Asia-Pacific Ultra-Broadband Summit 2016

The Asia-Pacific Ultra-Broadband Summit 2016 took place on 28 April 2016, in Hong-Kong, having been attended by ANACOM's Chair of the Board, Fátima Barros.

This summit was intended as a platform for discussions between business leaders and technology pioneers, focusing on the broadband industry and aiming to exchange ideas on innovation, best practices, and models for a sustainable growth of the sector.

In this context, ANACOM's Chair was invited to debate ideas at the level of broadband development in Europe, having addressed not only the present state of broadband at European level (by comparison to the rest of the world, covering European broadband-stimulating policies) but also the situation in Portugal, in particular national measures put in place at the level of access to the infrastructure.
