ANACOM has launched, on 27 April 2016, an information campaign in Portugal about international roaming, to spread awareness about the existence of new rules applicable from 30 April.
Through this campaign, ANACOM will be urging consumers to contact their operators before travelling.
The new rules on roaming seek to further eliminate the difference between domestic tariffs and roaming tariffs in the European Economic Area (EEA)1, pursuant to Regulation (EU) no. 2015/2120 of 25 November 2015 (which amended certain provisions of Regulation (EU) no. 531/2012 of 13 June 2012).
