ANACOM provides tool to look up DTT signal monitoring actions

As from today, ANACOM has a new tool on its website (www.anacom.pthttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=2958) which can be used to look up the monitoring actions undertaken to check the signal of digital terrestrial television (DTT) in Portugal. The tool provides access to information on the geographical distribution and focus of these actions, the date they took place, the type of problems identified and the procedures undertaken to ensure resolution.

The tool also provides full access to the reports made by ANACOM's teams on the ground. Designed to be simple and easy to use, information is provided on the actions which have been carried out; these can be searched by initiating party (according to whether they took place on ANACOM's own initiative or on the basis of complaints received from organisations or private individuals), by cause of problems and by type of resolution.

In geographical terms, searches can cover districts, municipalities and parishes in combination or individually.

The results can be seen in a table, map or chart.

Since the beginning of the transition to digital terrestrial television (DTT), ANACOM has conducted 508 monitoring actions to check the quality of the digital signal.
