Transfer of rights of use of frequencies from MEO to PT Comunicações

Decision of 19.02.2015 / Published on 26.02.2015

By decision of 19 February 2015 and without imposing any conditions, ANACOM has approved the transfer of the rights of use of frequencies for terrestrial electronic communications services set out in Title no. 02/2012 and of respective licences nos. 512291 and 513926. These titles, which were held by MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia, are transferred to PT Comunicações (PTC), which, in the meantime, has adopted the name of MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia.

Right of use of frequencies no. 02/2012 has been amended accordingly (endorsement no. 3), and a waiver given to the requirement of holding a prior hearing of interested parties.
