Multiband auction - decision on the assessment of the mobile electronic communications market

By determination of 28 August 2014, ANACOM has approved a decision on its assessment of the mobile electronic communications market, pursuant to article 39 of the Multiband Auction Regulation (Regulation no. 560-A/2001 of 19 October).

ANACOM also approved the report on the prior hearing and consultation to which the respective draft decision (approved on 15 May 2014) was submitted.  In response to these procedures, comments were received from Grupo ONI and Cabovisão - Televisão por Cabo; PT Portugal (Grupo PT), representing PT Comunicações and MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia; Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais; and NOS, representing NOS Comunicações, NOS Açores Comunicações and NOS Madeira Comunicações.  A contribution was also received from DECO - Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor (Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection); However, because this continuation was received following expiry of the stipulated deadline, it was not considered in the report, but has been made available for consultation along with the other responses.
