Draft decision on the renew of PT's right of use for frequencies for the operation of the fixed wireless system (FWA)

By determination of 12 December 2013, ANACOM approved a draft decision on the renew of the right of use for frequencies for the operation of the fixed wireless system (FWA) held by PT Comunicações, S.A. (PTC), for a 10-year period, and consequently, of the qualifying document that establishes such right (ICP-ANACOM No. 07/2006 - FWA), which applies with effect from 10 December 2014.

It was determined that PTC must notify this Authority on central stations planned to be deactivated, for the purpose of the amendment to radio license No. 506370 associated to the right of use it holds.

It was also decided to submit this draft decision to the general consultation procedure provided for in article 8 of the Electronic Communications Law (Law No. 5/2004, of 10 February, as republished by Law No. 51/2011, of 13 September), having been established a 20-working day time-limit for interested parties to assess the subject.
