Partial revocation of the title granted to TMN for provision of terrestrial electronic communications services

By determination of 26 September 2013, ANACOM has approved the revocation of the right of use of a block of 5 MHz of unpaired spectrum comprised in the 1900-1920 MHz and 2100 MHz frequency band for use of UMTS-TDD technology, as covered by the rights of use of frequencies for terrestrial electronic communications services and embodied in ICP-ANACOM title no. 02/2012 awarded to TMN - Telecomunicações Móveis Nacionais, S.A.. ANACOM also approved revocation of Radio Licence no. 513926 insofar as it corresponds to that block.

Accordingly, ANACOM decided to amend the title, along with the licence associated with this right of use.

ANACOM also decided to waive the requirement to hold a prior hearing of TMN, in accordance with article 103, paragraph 2, point b) of the Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code).
