Consultation on criteria for establishing the prices of the universal postal service

By determination of 29 July 2013, ANACOM has approved the draft decision on the criteria governing the establishment of the prices of the universal postal service provided by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT).

It was decided to submit this draft decision to a hearing of interested parties, under the terms of articles 100 and 101 of the Código de Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code), as well as to the general consultation procedure laid down in article 9 of Lei Postal (Postal Law - Law no. 17/2012 of 26 April), as well as conduct consultations with consumer organizations pursuant to article 43 of Law no. 17/2012 of 26 April.

Under these procedures, interested parties are given a maximum period of 20 working days in which to comment.

It was also decided to submit this draft decision to the opinion of ANACOM's Advisory Council, under the terms of and for the purposes of point c) of article 37 of ANACOM's Statutes.
