ANACOM - Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações has been distinguished by EXAME MAGAZINE among Portugal's 500 Largest and Best Companies, after being named in 1st place in the Services category. The award was presented to ANACOM's chairman, Fátima Barros, by Francisco Maria Balsemão at a ceremony held in Lisbon.
At the ceremony, note was made of ANACOM's drive to rationalize and contain operating costs in an effort to ease the burden of regulatory costs incurred by operators.
Every year the magazine selects Portugal's 500 Largest and Best Companies by sector, a distinction which also covers public entities and universities. The selection of winners is based on an analysis performed by Informa D&B and by Deloitte on the reports and accounts submitted by each company/entity.
