Calculation of fees due for the provision of electronic communications networks and services, pursuant to point b) of paragraph 1 of article 105 of Law no. 5/2004 of 10 February, 2011
1. Pursuant to paragraphs 1 and 2 of Annex II to Administrative Rule no. 1473-B/2008 of 17 December, the t2 contribution rate has been announced, as resulting from the application of the respective formula, obtained as follows:
Formula: t2 = (C-∑T1n1)/∑P2;
C = Total cost of regulating the activity of providers of electronic communications networks and services, which amount corresponds to the fees due to ANACOM in 2011 = 29,872,072 euros;
T1 = rate payable by tier 1 providers (Relevant revenues <= € 1.5 million) = € 2,500;
n1 = number of tier 1 providers = 16;
∑P1 = Total relevant revenues of tier 1 providers, in 2010 = 9,185,601 euros;
∑P2 = Total Relevant Revenues of tier 2 providers, in 2010 = 5,222,415,395 euros;
∑T1n1= 2.500€ x 16 = 40.000 €;
t2 = Contribution rate payable by tier 2 providers (Relevant revenues > 1,500,000 euros)
(29,872,072 euros - 40,000 euros) / 5,222,415.395 euros = 0.5712%;
2. Values of the Relevant Revenues reported for certain providers of electronic communications networks and services have been reviewed subsequent to an Audit carried out pursuant to decision of the Management Board of ICP-ANACOM, subsequent also to the conduct of the respective prior hearing.
